It is tough to protect the belongings of one’s house from human thieves. But you might be surprised to hear that a cat thief causes the same trouble. Maybe you’ll laugh. But this cat snatches the toys that dogs and kids use to play with. You must be surprised, right?
Aussie Mrs. Kay McCall has this issue. “Every day, toys and things for the house are brought to our house. At first, it was impossible to find out who brought these things. We thought they must have been thrown away by the kids next door. We gave it little attention, but the toys continued to arrive. However, we later learned that a cat committed this theft.”.
The cat is called Kylo. it stole everything, including blankets, toys, socks, and school uniforms. “Kylo brought us a school shirt, lots of dog toys, and a cleaning sponge,” said Mrs. McCall.
Even though her house is completely fenced in, the cat brought a giant teddy bear and a huge football. Kylo doesn’t hide his stolen goods like the other thieves do. Instead, it put them on display in the yard of Mrs McCall and her husband, Tom.
Even though the couple captured the great thief Kylo one day, nothing altered in its behavior at night. Every day, Kylo brings some gifts. Sometimes there was one, and sometimes there were several. A month later, the table was completely packed.
Ms. McCall ultimately decided to investigate the origin of the items. She uploaded the photographs of the merchandise on the Facebook page of the local neighborhood. She demanded that the community inform her if any items were missing from the residence.
People now call it “the Pirate Cat.” People didn’t care much about the toys, but they were excited to see what would be stolen and returned next. Finally, hundreds of fans online began to talk and be keen about this pirate cat Kylo.
Kylo’s owners did everything they could to stop it from doing this, but Kylo got away quickly. The only option was to relocate him somewhere else. Fortunately, Ingrid Moyle, a local neighbor, decided to assist them. After that, it never went outside again. Mrs. Moyle said it took him about a month to get used to his new home, but once it did, Kylo went back to his nightly turns.
“Normal cats bring home a partially-chewed mouse. However, Kylo did something very different.” Ms. Moyle said. Mrs. Moyle did some things to stop Kylo from stealing more things. She put together a basket full of treats to steal. Now, it steals something from it every night and brings them back. Ms Moyle used to post pictures of stolen items on Instagram, which got her a lot of attention from her fans. Kylo now has more than 800 people following him on Instagram and more than 1000 followers on Facebook.
This cat usually steals things from nearby houses instead of catching mice. I have no idea how this behavior developed. However, this cat’s behavior can lead to something positive. It will also benefit Ms. Moyle’s residence.
