There were some set of pictures gone viral on social media in this summer regard a “baby drop box”. Zelus365 got curious about it and tend our attention in this regard.
The story dates back to 2018, It was an amazing idea of a Namibian couple Ronel and D. Peters, they had decided to open up a space for “babies who [were] not wanted by their parents,”.
Unplanned pregnancies and Adolescent pregnancy create a vulnerable situation to the newborns and there is a high probability of been aborted, abandoned or neglected.
This kind-hearted couple, carved a part of the home wall to serve as a “baby saving box” for unwanted, abandoned, mistreated, and neglected infants in Namibia.

“Because more abortions and babies are being dumped in Namibia, we decided to take care of innocent babies in our home. We can ensure babies don’t die a horrible, lonely death.” Ronel Peters, the 46-year-old founder, said

They formed the Ruach Elohim Foundation to carry out their mission in Swakopmund. In Hebrew, Ruach Elohim means “Breath of God.” According to the facebook page of the foundation, currently they have adopted seven babies who left at baby saver box.

Peters, a former pharmaceutical and medical representative, has quit her employment to devote herself to humanitarian activity.

The foundation seeks support from Namibians to help to save the babies. The couple is regularly aware the police, social workers and councillors around the country to retrieve abandoned infants.
