According to him, once you identify where the CoG of any object lies, it as a simple task to balance it. However, you need to practice a lot and gain experience to do this. Byun with his deep understanding of physics and a zen-like approach to his work, has found balance in his art and in life. It took more than a decade of practice for Byun to understand the physics and identify correctly where the CoG lies in any object. He claims that most difficult part of his art is identifying the CoG of an object. Some says, beside physics, he has practiced Zen Buddhism to keep his mental state calm while he is performing.
The meditation techniques taught in Zen Buddhism can calm the mind and concentrate your thoughts to a one point.
