The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is a free online competition open to global wildlife photographers of all levels. This world’s funniest and the most popular annual photography competition revealed the winners for its 2022 edition!
The awards were co-founded in 2015 by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, both professional photographers and passionate conservationists to highlight light-hearted wildlife photography and the importance of wildlife conservation through humor.
This Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards saw a variety of hilarious images of the earth’s most amazing wildlife as usual in their natural habitat. Photographers captured the more fun and quirky moments of mirth on Earth to remind us of the importance of protecting our world and the creatures that live in it.
With up to 5,000 entries from more than 85 countries across the globe, this year’s top prize was won by Jennifer Hadley for her photograph of 3-month-old lion cub losing its grip on a tree trunk titled “Not so cat-like reflexes” taken in the Serengeti, Tanzania.
